1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms 

 Welcome to Voltedge Batteries (www.voltedgebatteries.com.au). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and all purchases made from us. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable Australian laws. 

 All transactions are subject to the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). 

 

2. Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and Consumer Guarantees 

 Your Rights: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for major failure, and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss. If the issue is not a major failure, you are entitled to a repair or replacement. 

 No “No Refund” Policies: Any statement that denies ACL rights is invalid. Customers always retain their rights. 

 Express Warranties:   

• All batteries include a **5‑year standard ACL warranty**, except:   

• **AGM batteries**, which include a **2.5‑year express warranty**.   

 These guarantees are in addition to your ACL rights. 

 

3. Product Information and Pricing 

 Accuracy: We aim for accurate images, descriptions, and specifications. Accessories shown may not be included unless stated. 

 Pricing: All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Delivery fees are displayed before checkout. 

 

4. Orders and Payment 

 Order Process: Submitting an order constitutes an offer. A contract is formed once we accept your order and issue a confirmation email. 

 Payment Methods: We accept multiple payment methods using secure third‑party processors (e.g., PayPal, card processors). Their terms also apply to your transaction. 

 Security: Our website uses SSL encryption and follows secure data‑handling practices. 

 

5. Shipping and Delivery 

 Delivery Estimates: Delivery times may vary. Delays caused by courier companies or external factors are outside our control. 

 Risk: Risk of loss or damage transfers to you upon delivery. Inspect goods promptly and notify us of any issues. 

 Non‑Delivery: If goods fail to arrive within a reasonable time, ACL remedies apply. 

 

6. Returns and Refunds Policy 

 Faulty Goods: For goods that are damaged, faulty, or not as described, ACL entitles you to repair, replacement, or refund. Contact us immediately if you believe a product is faulty. 

 Change of Mind: Accepted at our discretion and subject to conditions such as time limits and original packaging. ACL rights remain unaffected. 

 

7. Limitation of Liability 

 To the extent permitted by Australian law, our liability is limited to the cost of replacement or repair of goods. We do not limit liability for death, personal injury, or any ACL consumer guarantee. 

 

8. Intellectual Property 

 All website content, including branding, text, product images, and design elements, is owned by or licensed to Voltedge Batteries. Reproduction or copying without written consent is prohibited. 

 

9. Privacy and Data Handling 

 We collect personal information in order to process your order and provide customer support. We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details. 

 

10. Governing Law 

 These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia. You agree to the jurisdiction of Queensland courts for any disputes.
